Disaster risks, monitoring and prevention assessment & management project has the objectiove in dissiminating and sharing disaster-related information, artificial intelligence application and mathematical model simulation data, research, statistics, results, knowledge and expertise to monitor risk assessment and prevent disaster. The Initiative aims at harmonising methods to improve pre-disaster planning as well as hazard, vulnerability and risk assessments.

The topics taken in consideration will be :

• Seismic;
• Volcanic;
• Landlides and avalances;
• Floods and storms;
• Forest fires;

The project will make use of Digital navigation maps visualistion of the places where events happenned or in risk, a central core of Interner Information system which will harvest automatically and periodically the information from the websites of the partners participating in the project, model simulation calculations, artificial intelligent and decision making algorithms based of collected data and stored on databases and finally visualistion of the risk spectra and flow or event propagation on digital maps. The results will be available to the organisations, govermental service, etc.. responsible for the security, prevention and risk assessment of the territories in danger.
